The Impossible Project

In February 2008 Polaroid announced that they would stop producing instant film. Shortly after, in June 2008, The Impossible Project was created by 10 former Polaroid employees who couldn't accept the extinction of analog instant photography. They are now continuing to produce experimental instant film, both 'colour shades' and 'silver shades'.


I think this is amazing and really does prove that film is not dead! Last year I was given an old Polaroid Supercolor 635 but have yet to try it out. I used to have a Fuji Instax 210, which was fun, but I always found the pictures too 'real' (above). Expired Polaroid film is quite expensive now, so I'm going to try some Impossible film soon. The results are beautifully soft and dreamy...
